He has led development teams for brands in the US, Singapore and Sweden, and is a Toptal-vetted WordPress engineer. Every product we ship, from Signal to our WordPress.org plugins, is built in-house. That’s the same standard your store gets. 14+ yearsToptal-vettedTeams in US · SG · SEBetatech, LLC (Delaware) [LinkedIn ↗](https://www.linkedin.com/in/adnanshawkat/)[GitHub ↗](https://github.com/ashawkat)[Toptal profile ↗](https://talent.toptal.com/resume/developers/shah-md-adnan-shawkat)[More about us →](https://betatech.co/about/) ## From WordPress developer to e-commerce engineering partner Adnan Shawkat started building on WordPress in 2012. Over the next decade he led development teams for brands in the US, Singapore and Sweden, and was vetted by Toptal as a WordPress engineer. Most of that work ended up being e-commerce: subscription stores, custom WooCommerce plugins, migrations, and Shopify stores that needed a real development team behind them. BetaTech exists to do exactly that work, and nothing else. Today BetaTech works directly with store owners and as the white-label engineering team behind e-commerce agencies. We also build our own software, from Signal to open-source WordPress tools, because shipping our own products keeps our standards honest. 1. 2012 Adnan Shawkat starts building on WordPress. 2. The person on the call is the person writing the code. ### Written scope, fixed price You know what you’re getting and what it costs before work starts. ### Proof you can check Live client sites, public plugins on WordPress.org and open-source code on GitHub. ### Your code, your brand You own everything once paid, and agency work stays under your name. ## Software we build and maintain [SaaSLive ### Signal Client reporting for e-commerce agencies.
