Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Betatech, LLC (“BetaTech”, “we”) collects through betatech.co, why, and what you can do about it. Betatech, LLC is a Delaware limited liability company. Contact us at adnan@betatech.co.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email, and optionally your company, store URL and message. We use it to reply to you and to prepare quotes.
- Website chat: the messages you type, the page you started on, your approximate country, and your name, email and project interest if you share them. An AI assistant answers first; our team reads every chat and may reply in person. Your IP address is only stored as a one-way hash, to limit abuse.
- Call bookings: if you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email and chosen time.
- Analytics: with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics we collect pseudonymous usage data such as pages visited, device type and approximate location.
- Security: Cloudflare (hosting and Turnstile bot protection) processes your IP address and browser signals to keep the site secure.
Why we use it (legal bases)
- To respond to your enquiry and take steps before a contract (contract / pre-contract).
- To understand and improve the site, and keep it secure (legitimate interests, or consent where required).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
We use these processors: Cloudflare (hosting, security, chat storage), Anthropic (AI replies in the website chat), Telegram (delivering chats to our team), Maileroo (email delivery), Google (analytics) and our calendar booking provider. We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and chat transcripts that don’t become projects are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept as long as needed for the engagement and for legal and tax purposes.
International transfers
We work from Bangladesh and use providers in the United States and the EU. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California law), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Email adnan@betatech.co and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
The site itself only stores your light/dark theme preference and, if you use the chat, your conversation (so it’s still there when you change page) in your browser. Analytics cookies are set by Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
Changes
We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
